SALES REPRESENTATIVE / TRADER

Job description:

Sales are the result of a highly interactive process between the sales and sourcing departments, continually trying to match demands from customers and offers from suppliers in order to create business opportunities.

You will be responsible for sales in several European markets.
You will manage existing accounts and actively prospect new clients.
To this end you will occasionally travel abroad.

You draw up offers and follow up on these offers.

Profile:

• you are a natural born salesman / saleswoman
• you are goal-oriented, dynamic and proactive
• you communicate easily and professionally with customers
• you are a team player but are also able to work independently
• you are confident and can handle stress
• you are prepared to travel abroad occasionally

Knowledge / experience:

• you have a higher degree and have several years of experience in a commercial job in the food industry or international trade
• knowledge of fishery products is definitely a strong advantage
• a solid knowledge of Dutch, French and English is very important; any other languages are an asset
• you have good organisational skills
